Enough to fund focused work: people, compute, and testing. Sized to the scope you propose, not the other way around.

Milestone driven
Most support runs three months with 3 to 5 agreed milestones. Constraints are a feature. They keep projects shipping after the hackathon energy fades.

How it works

Apply
The application below takes 30 to 45 minutes if you know your project. Every question is there for a reason.

Review
We review every application the same way and typically respond within two weeks. No black box, no silence.

Agree on milestones
Funded projects get a simple support letter: the amount, the milestones, and the dates we agreed on.

Build
You ship, we check in at each milestone, and the AI Freedom Lab community is behind you the whole way.
